Universal Communications Group NZ is thrilled to unveil a contract win with the Government of Tuvalu. The contract entails providing survey, design, and construction support services for a “Fibre to the Home” network on the island of Funafuti. This project is sponsored by the World Bank.

The implementation of the Fibre to the Home network represents more than just a technological leap; it signifies our dedication to empowering communities, fostering innovation and driving economic progress. By bridging the digital gap and enhancing communication infrastructure, we are actively contributing to the growth and resilience of Pacific Island nations.

We express our gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Tuvalu for placing their trust in us for this vital project, and we extend our appreciation to the World Bank for their invaluable support. Together, we are paving the way for a brighter and more digitally inclusive tomorrow.

This opportunity marks a significant addition to UCG’s Pacific Island portfolio. We have a proven track record of delivering similar services in the Federated States of Micronesia for over three years, and more recently, with the Government of the Republic of Kiribati.
