Universal Communications Group NZ are excited to announce a new Contract Award with the Government of the Republic of Kiribati, for Design and Construction Support Services of “Fibre to the Home” Network in Tarawa – a project sponsored by the World Bank.

The Fibre to the Home Network is not just a technological advancement; it is a commitment to empowering communities, fostering innovation, and catalysing economic growth, through bridging the digital divide and enhancing communication infrastructures. We are proud to play a pivotal role in this journey towards a more connected and resilient future in Pacific Island Nations.

We would like to thank the Government of the Republic of Kiribati for entrusting us with this crucial project and the World Bank for their invaluable support. Together, we are laying the groundwork for a brighter, more digitally inclusive tomorrow.

This opportunity is a great addition to UCG’s Pacific Island Portfolio, where we have been delivering similar services in the Federated States of Micronesia for over 2 years and are getting very close to the construction phase of the project.
