In 2022, Vector Fibre and UCG forged a strategic partnership by signing a Field Services Agreement. Under this agreement, UCG became one of Vector Fibre’s trusted field service partners, responsible for providing design, build, and provisioning services in Greater Auckland. This collaboration aims to bolster support for Vector Fibre’s expanding portfolio, including their burgeoning dark fibre, eclipse, and data centre offerings.
One of the first projects awarded to UCG is the Albany-Whenuapai project, aimed at the capacity expansion of the western fibre route across Tamaki Makarua. UCG have successfully laid 14km of Fibre Install along State Highway, with great feedback from our client.
